Feel electric, be eclectic
My name is Rayna L. Kanas, and I am a senior studying magazine journalism at the Zimmerman School of Mass Communications at the University of South Florida. I am a writer, photographer, and former radio producer and host.
Music is one of the biggest passions in my life. Whether it's old or new, I love to listen, learn, and find meaning in music. I am actively pursuing a career in music journalism, finding the ties that bind society with pop culture.
At USF, I have worked for their online newsroom as a writer and editor, produced and hosted radio shows at the campus station, and have taken the reigns of multiple student organizations. Outside of school, I'm a concert photographer and videographer, following local bands across the state of Florida.
